Well this was it, The Angel has appeared! The day I have been training for has finally arrived. I couldn't wait to be with Rellik in actual combat. Unfortunately, they decided to waste time by attacking The Angel with tanks and planes. These were swiftly and effortlessly destroyed. Finally it was our turn. There was a battle plan that involved marry-Ann and I assaulting The Angel in a pincer attack while Issac came up the elevator and attacked from behind. The plan failed horribly, because the regular military attack failed so bad we had no prep time. I didn't mind it just meant I got to fight sooner.
The Angel was horrifying beyond explanation. A monster out of a psychopath's nightmare. I still felt safe because I was with Rellik, Mary-Ann however totally lost it, but was still able to protect herself until I was able to get there. I assaulted the angel with a bloodthirsty rage but this things flesh was much more resistant than I could have Imagined and was unable to hurt it noticeably. The battle went poorly from there. We barely managed to hold our own while The Angel continuously tore into us. After our power cables were destroyed by some kind of energy blast, that I somehow was able to mostly avoid, I knew what I had to do. I let my battery run out in the hopes that Rellik would awaken. It worked! My Darling awoke and was finally able to injure The Angel. In the end, against all odds, we defeated the angel that had destroyed 01 and caused the destruction of Japan.
