Episode 1: Initiation

So we finally got to let all the kids meet each other, it was an interesting sight, I probably would have preferred to of let the kids actually meet somewhere more... I guess welcoming rather than our own briefing chamber, but it couldn't b helped.

And since the OD is on Emergency assignment, I get to bunk with the kids as well, that was a less than stellar revelation. Don't get me wrong, there nice kids, but we have a manic depressive (Tear), a child who's probably been literally beaten into submission (Issac), and a a rather awkward girl who I suspect secretly stole all my pens (Maryann) who keeps tripling over goddamn everything in this penthouse suite that there being kept....

Also note to self... Stop calling them Pilots... God dammit Rachael there children not robots... Your sounding like Tyrone.

Man oh man we got to finally put to bad boys you guys help create to use today, Activation test with the kiddies... and holy shit my heart was pounding the whole time... seeing those giants that I've been staring at for weeks actually wake up. move around, and actually go through tests was awe inspiring.

Man I joined NERV for this kind of shit, I am fucking out of my mind right now.

Okay so the fire report went well enough, The Pilots were using giant laser tag guns on some holograms, real tron shit, Chase and Tear, blew the shit out of them, I saw that chase kid put pretty much explode his hologram, and Tear shot off enough limbs where it wasn't getting back up...

Maryann? Well I had to go back and checking it's targeting systems... and nope it was working, the kid just completely missed the very volley of shots from her test riffle... and actually got chewed out by the boss for it... whatever they said.. well it got through to her because the second burst had a nice pattern....

As far as the Melee test, well they all aced that test, Chase beat the shit out of his target before shanking it like an old solder would, Tear... Well lets just say I regret that RND simulated the organs of there holograms from her vicious assault, and Maryann pretty much just shanked the shit out of it.

Anyways... after testing, I took the kids out to get a proper meal at a Chinese restaurant, and I learned a bit about them, Chase is probably going to be impossible to keep full, that kid started taking steam trays back to eat... and, well I guess as often as I see him working out, I can't blame the kid...

I was wondering about this bear that Tear was hiding behind... and she definitely hides behind it even deeper when she's going to say something incredibly rude, which she has a habit of doing....

Well at least there signed into classes.... I also learned a bit about them while they were at "Home" that evening... Tear has a quirk where she was rapidly changing the channels on the TV... like every few seconds.. I... well... Not sure there.

Maryann likes to fall over stuff, but is otherwise the most normal of the lot, and chase apparently decided to move the furniture around, I guess it wasn't "Tactical" or something....

So I got three new kids today, which is a bit abnormal considering they were all coming from the same car when they got here, and all seemed to be the antisocial types according to what the principal told me, well hey I have to work with what they offer me and there parents really to pay allot to send there kids here.

So well, sadly for them they came in during a quiz day, which gave me a chance to assess there math skills, I'd say Tear and Maryann are rather advanced for there age math wise, but Chase is going to need some extra time to get caught up with the class, he did.. well he got at best a 60%... and that was while he was cheating on his test... that's right I could tell he was cheating and really made no effort to hide the fact... I don't try to yell or embarrass the kids but if he needs some after school help to get caught up I'm his guy.

However, I don't know what there kids are being fed at him, but there are top caliber athlehes, they were asked to run the mile that is to say, our hill out behind the school, one mile up, and one mile down, and the three of them were back before some of the slower kids even got to the end of the trail... Amazing!

((From here the pilots fell into there routine,  Chase spend his time studying to improve his skill in logic, and increase his strength with high impact weight training, Pilot tear studied Gymnastics to increase her Agility, and Maryann attempted to breakout of her shell by making friends at school, increasing her fellowship))
